OVERVIEW
Develop the public-facing section of a social community website, using Express.js (NodeJS 8.10). You will be provided an HTML5/Bootstrap 4 theme for base UI. You will be provided REST API to access required dynamic data, no database connection is needed.
HARD REQUIREMENTS
Good personality and proactive in asking/clarifying things if any requirement is not clear.
Good taste of layout and beautiful UI.
Familiar with Express.js, npm, and Bootstrap 4.
Familiar with JSON REST API.
Familiar with Git.
No (or very little) client-side JavaScript involved (simple jQuery). No Angular/React needed.
SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS
You will be provided user stories to work on for each sprint via Jira. See attachment for an example of how a user story looks like.
You will need to make UI / layout decions and collaborate with the functional analyst to improve the pages.
Templates will be written in Handlebars (if you disagree, please make a suggestion, I will consider).
Use modern NodeJS 8.10/ES features and best practices for easily maintainable code (e.g. async/await).
Use JavaScript Standard Style (https://standardjs.com/).
