Hello!
My name is Rudolf, I am an English Education Program graduate from Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana, majoring in ESP (English For Specific Purposes), where I taught English to hotel staff of d'Emmerick Hotel Salatiga. I graduated from university in 2018 with a GPA of 3.81. During my university years, I was also a tutor for Academic Writing class.
Despite my major in university, I am also passionate in translation. I have invested a great deal of time honing my translation skills. I started my career as a freelance translator working on academic journals and papers. On one occasion I also helped my lecturer with his World Bank translation project. Following my graduation, I took a serious path in translation world by working in ProCon Translation, where I worked as an editor for an e-commerce chat message project.
Currently, I am working in PT. PEMAD INTERNATIONAL TRANSEARCH as a in-house translator. I am working on various projects with a range of fields, such as legal, marketing, technology, game, and finance. I am also familiar with several CAT Tools like Trados, MemoQ, XTM, and Polyglot. Besides my office job, I am also working as a freelance translator working in a literature related project (novel). On average, I translate around 4000 words per day.
Since I am a newly appointed translator, I wish to seek more project where I can sharpen my skills in translating as well as writing. I am able to work under pressure, delivering the work with minimal error and high accuracy, and meet the deadline on time. In case you have any project, let me show you my craft.
