As a graduate from George Washington University, I began my career as an Accountant at a prominent public relations firm based in Washington, DC, for two years (2018-2020) before being promoted to a supervisory role. In this role, I managed day-to-day bookkeeping, filed tax returns, and performed detailed accounting and bank reconciliations for both domestic and international subsidiaries in compliance with US GAAP.
I decided to pursue a Master’s Degree in Accountancy also at George Washington University so I can be eligible for the CPA certification. I graduated from my Master’s degree in 2022 before working at Deloitte US in the Audit & Assurance and Financial Advisory sectors, where I have assessed complex accounting transactions, internal control functions, advised clients on any future uncertainties and growth goals, and offered financial strategic advice and services on both private and public corporations.
In 2023, I relocated back to Indonesia and joined the financial advisory division at Deloitte Indonesia. There, I led teams in advising major financial institutions on enhancing operational effectiveness, including overseeing the migration of clients' accounting operations and databases to new SAP software, ensuring compliance with the Indonesian accounting standards (PSAK). Following my tenure at Deloitte, I transitioned to a strategic role at Bipi.id, a startup based in Indonesia where I served in the CEO Office to facilitate a critical pivot for the company’s transition to a new business model. I have currently implemented a structured change in management process to facilitate a smooth transition from a full-time role to provide outsourced financial accounting services, leveraging my expertise to manage the company’s financial operations.
