During his 6-year career in the legal industry, Clinton has various engagement that lead him to has proficiency in-depth analysis with a well-rounded knowledge of complex business transactions such as cross-border transactions consisting of complex debt restructuring, as well as complex mergers and acquisitions. Having a diverse experience has developed him to have a deep understanding of various legal issues such as antitrust, banking and finance, civil law, business law, and criminal law.
Clinton started his career by working for the Central Bank of Indonesia as a legal intern. He also became an antitrust researcher for the Institute for Business Competition and Policy Studies at the University of Indonesia. Simultaneously he worked as an assistant lawyer at Total Consulting Law Office specializing in antitrust, and also assisted a legal technology company that provided contract generator services to create various agreements in the various business industry. After receiving a bachelor’s degree, he joined one of the leading law firms in Indonesia. He also was appointed as chief of the product by a legal technology company that provides a legal marketplace. Later after practicing in a law firm, He became a consultant for United Nations Development Programme.
