Most employers would agree that a good introduction about yourself will get you a long way when applying for a job or contract, which is why I've put in a lot of effort into this self introduction about myself, and I hope you'll see that too. My aim in the following paragraphs is to share a little bit about myself and experience. Hopefully I will have achieved these two things by the end of this intro.
My name is Arsa Nitisara Fathin, but usually called Fathin by my peers. I won't go over my biodata as you can already see that on my profile, therefore I'll skip straight to my experiences in English. I was born in Jakarta in 2005, but at the age of 3 moved to New Zealand with my parents as my Mum was taking her PhD there. Living in New Zealand from a very young age, you could say that English is my first language.
After moving back to Indonesia in 2015, my Mum worked at Universitas Indonesia as a lecturer, and in 2018 received a job offer to become the head of the International Office at UI. This is where I sharpened my skills in speech-making and content-writing. Occasionally, I would be given writing tasks that needed to be done in English. Eventually in around 2020, I'd become a somewhat of an unofficial editor there, meaning all English written content would go through me to be editted.
Currently, I've received my high school diploma back in June 2023, and have been accepted into UI. To solidify my competence in English, I recently took an IELTS test in UI Depok, and achieved a near-perfect score of 8.5 (You can contact me personally for proof of certificate).
