My diverse background spans several fields. It all started with my passion for video games, which initially led me to pursue a software engineering major and excel in English. However, I discovered my true calling in 2013 when I decided to study animation at the Art Institute in Jogjakarta, Indonesia.
During my time there, I had the opportunity to work as a junior graphic designer in a small IT company, where I gained valuable experience and insights into the world of design. As my skills and interests evolved, I began freelancing and also opened my own English course in 2017, which allowed me to combine my proficiency in English, with my passion for teaching.
To further broaden my horizons, I actively participated in tour guiding and volunteering activities through the Workaway community. These experiences provided me with invaluable project management skills, including leadership, monitoring, and evaluating small projects.
In 2018, I embraced a new challenge as a product consultant in a smartphone store. This role allowed me to gain firsthand experience in sales and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends. Alongside this role, I've also explored various other fields such as teaching, tour guiding, translating, audio transcription, quality assurance, editing, subtitling, and proofreading.
In recent years, I've been involved in subtitling projects for TV series, movies, and documentaries. This work has required me to adhere to different guidelines for each project, ensuring accurate and high-quality subtitles.
Overall, my journey has been an exciting and diverse one, and I believe it has equipped me with a unique set of skills and experiences. I am now eager to apply my multidisciplinary background, project management skills, language proficiency, and sales experience in a dynamic and challenging role.
