Hello, my name is Bayu Pinasthika and I am an IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Consultant with a concentration in the healthcare industry. Currently I live in Jakarta, Indonesia and have worked with about more than 20 hospitals in the design, build and secure functionality of their IT systems for more than 10 years.
My experience includes planning an IT infrastructures for more than 20 hospitals, assess over 15 healthcare facilities in their IT environments and implement systems that support day to day operations in more than 15 hospitals.
Healthcare is always a very dynamic and high stakes domain. Technology should, for me, be reliable, secure and always made with care. It is why I always try to bring a solution that effectively works for the people using it, not just a technical solution.
I quite often use frameworks like HIMSS INFRAM, NIST or ISO/IEC 27001 to guide me in my work, but for me the ultimate success will be in the systems responding that much to the clinical team in the provision of patient care.
Solving complex problems in simple ways is what I am zealous about as learning, collaborating and helping others do more. Be it designing an infrastructure from scratch for a new hospital or fortifying an already existing system, I envision making healthcare IT work better for everyone concerned and with greater safety.
