2020: PeduliLindungi is an application developed by Telkom Indonesia to help government agencies in tracking to stop the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). This application relies on public participation to share their location data while travelling so that contact tracing with COVID-19 patients can be carried out. Users of this application will also receive notifications if they are in a crowded place or in a red zone, an area or neighbourhood that has been recorded as having someone infected with COVID-19 positive or under monitoring.
My job description as a software engineer in PeduliLindungi:
• Assigned in Tribe Vaccination & PeduliLindungi and Chapter Digital Product & Engineering at Digital Business & Technology Division
• Build and develop PeduliLindungi backend services: user login & register, vaccine certificate, international vaccine certificate (WHO, EU, KSA), scan check-in/check-out merchant, covid test result, content management system, and others
• Build and develop REST API services in Golang and NodeJS
• Implement clean architecture and CQRS design pattern
• Implement microservices with API-driven and event-driven architecture
• Implement NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
• Implement message queue using Kafka
• Implement logging using Elasticsearch and Kibana
• Implement caching using Redis
• Implement unit testing in Golang using Testify and mockery
• Perform services monitoring using Datadog
• Perform project version management using Git
• Perform deployment using Gitops, Jenkins, K8s, Openshift, and Rancher
