 I worked at the Prehistory Department of the National Research Centre of Archaeology in Jakarta. One of my responsibilitiies was joining research teams that conducted arcahaeological fieldworks. But due to my ability to communicate in Emglish, I was then being appointed as a secretary, which duties were translating letters/ema ils to and from foreign research institutions as well as individual researchers. I was also one of the editors of my office's journals and helped translating papers to be presented in seminars. After my retirement I continue to work as a translator, particularly in the field of archaeology and cultural/humanity studies.
