Luthfi Nicola Sereni (luthfins)

I am an English tutor and I am fluent in English (7.5 IELTS Academic Band, 8.5 Listening, 7 Reading, 7 Writing, 7,5 Speaking) and certified in TESOL and Google Educator Level 1. I graduated with a major in English Education bachelor's degree in 2021 from the University of Singaperbangsa Karawang.

I have been teaching at English training centers. I believe teaching is my calling as I enjoy motivating and training my students to be fluent in English and have a successful future. I can say I feel satisfied to see someone successful because of me. Teaching makes sure I can have a beneficial long-lasting legacy in my life.

Also, I am a person who believes I have to keep studying to improve myself as a better English teacher because I want to provide better teaching output for my students. I often read and watch learning sources for English teachers from the internet and MOOC classes. Moreover, I plan to take my master's degree in English Education abroad.

Now, I am an English Tutor at Golden English. I teach every day from Monday to Sunday as I work overtime a lot. I teach English for daily conversation, English for business, and IELTS Academic and TOEFL IBT Preparation. I often implement Cambridge Curriculum when I teach IELTS Academic and TOEFL IBT Preparation classes. I believe that I have to be a hard worker if I want to improve myself as a teacher.

Additionally, I have various non-teaching jobs like translating and interpreting in English, driving, customer service, and being a helper and networking engineer. I worked in non-teaching jobs because I always want to be productive in my free time and I was unemployed when I worked these jobs.

On campus, I was a student with a list of honors and awards. My lecturers often trusted me with tasks other students could not do. For example, I was appointed as a speech and debate judge for regional competitions although I did not graduate yet. I was experienced in academic debate as I was a debater for my campus debate club and managed to surprise big league universities during regional selection in West Java in 2018 and 2019. So, I could also coach debate for high school students considering my experience.

Overall, I am an individual who loves teaching English and being productive. I crave challenges, and I am not afraid of learning something new for the job. I probably do not have enough experience for various jobs that I want to apply for, but if I am given time to train and learn, I believe I could overcome any responsibilities needed for the job.
